PERRYVILLE -- Joseph Favier, 58, of Perryville died Wednesday, Oct. 27, 1999, at his home. He was born Feb. 12, 1941, at St. Mary's, son of Glen J. and Rita Bach Favier. He and Darlene Orth were married June 4, 1960. Favier owned and operated Orth's Sand and Gravel Co. He was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, River Hills Eagles Lodge 4034, and was a booster member of AmVets Post 94 and American Legion Post 133...

PERRYVILLE -- Joseph Favier, 58, of Perryville died Wednesday, Oct. 27, 1999, at his home.

He was born Feb. 12, 1941, at St. Mary's, son of Glen J. and Rita Bach Favier. He and Darlene Orth were married June 4, 1960.

Favier owned and operated Orth's Sand and Gravel Co. He was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, River Hills Eagles Lodge 4034, and was a booster member of AmVets Post 94 and American Legion Post 133.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Ricky Favier of Perryville; three daughters, Sandra Clifton, Robin Jones and Penny Favier, all of Perryville; a brother, Jerry Favier of Perryville; four sisters, Shirley Blechle of Old Appleton, Rita Rubel of Perryville, Jane Wright of New Orleans, La., Glenda O'Farrell of Doe Run; and nine grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father, an infant son, and a grandson.

Friends may call at Young and Sons Funeral Home from 6-9 p.m. today, and Friday from 6:30-9:30 a.m. The parish wake will be at 7 tonight. The rosary will be recited at 8:30 a.m. Friday.

Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Vincent's Church. The Rev. Rich Lause will officiate. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
