ADVANCE -- Joseph H. Eftink, 53, of Advance died Monday, Feb. 22, 1999, in the Emergency Room at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
He was born Dec. 19, 1945, at Glennon, son of Joseph B. and Anna M. Trankle Eftink.
Eftink was employed by Lillie Anne Construction Co. in Cape Girardeau. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
Survivors include a son, Aaron Eftink of Jackson; a daughter, Sarah Eftink of Jackson; three brothers, Charles and Mark Eftink of Leopold, Robert Eftink of Marble Hill; three sisters, Berniece Horman of Clubb, Carol Welker of Patton, and Rita Holshouser of Marble Hill.
Friends may call at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill after 4 p.m. today. Parish prayers will be at 7:30.
Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Glennon, with the Rev. Frederick Lutz officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
