TAMMS, Ill. -- Funeral service for Joseph R. Eaves of Tamms will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Jones Funeral Home in Tamms. The Rev. Ernest Browning will officiate, with burial in Spencer Heights Cemetery at Mounds.
Eaves, 28, died Sunday, July 27, 1997, on Highway 37 two miles south of Olmsted, in a single vehicle accident.
He was born Jan. 15, 1969, at Hayti, Mo., son of Joseph C. and Martha Robbins Eaves. He married the former Jennifer Barnes.
Eaves was a farm laborer.
Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Brandy Eaves, and a son, Joseph Eaves, both of Tamms; his father and stepmother, Joe and Sharon Eaves of Pulaski; his mother and stepfather, Martha and Charles McKinney of Thebes; a sister, Robin Hale of Thebes; three brothers, Tracey Eaves of Pulaski, Tom Eaves of Mound City, Earl Eaves of Thebes; a stepbrother, Nicholas McKinney of Thebes; and maternal grandparents, Thomas and Lorene Robbins of Marston, Mo.
