CHARLESTON, Mo. -- Joseph Loren "Spec" DeLine, 96, of Charleston died Tuesday, Aug. 19, 2003, at his home.
He was born Feb. 24, 1907, in Charleston, son of Charles L. and Lilly Millard DeLine. He and Helen Margaret Cook were married Nov. 28, 1941. She died Dec. 25, 1994.
DeLine owned DeLine Gun Shop from 1935 until retiring in 1979. He was a member of First Baptist Church, served as assistant Sunday school secretary many years and was a deacon emeritus.
Survivors include two daughters, Melissa Graham of Charleston, Judith Hahs of Sikeston, Mo.; and four grandsons.
He was preceded in death by five brothers and four sisters.
Friends may call at McMikle Funeral Home from 5 to 8 p.m. today.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at First Baptist Church, with the Rev. Gerald Collier officiating. Burial will be in IOOF Cemetery.
