Jordi Morris

Jordi Ryan Morris, 31, of Jackson died Monday, Aug. 8, 2016, at his home.

He was born July 1, 1985. in Cape Girardeau to David and Myra Farrow Morris. He and Chanda Lee-Ann Wood were married Sept. 28, 2013, at Jackson.

In his younger days, Jordi enjoyed taking part in car shows. He enjoyed drawing and especially spending time with his children.

Survivors include his wife, Chanda Lee-Ann Morris of Jackson; his father, David Morris of Sikeston, Missouri; his mother, Myra Morris of Jackson; a son, Janssyn Morris of Jackson; two daughters, Madisyn Phillips and Ryleigh Layton, both of Jackson; two brothers, James Morris of Scott City and Jeffrey Morris of Moscow Mills, Missouri; a sister-in-law, Marsha (Travis) Carroll of Chaffee, Missouri; two brothers-in-law, Joseph and Chris Wood, both of Chaffee; four nieces, Kaya, Raven, Peyton and Lucy; and three nephews, Destin, Landon and Harley.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to noon Friday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau.

The funeral service will be at noon Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. William Minor officiating. Burial will be at McLain Chapel Cemetery in Oriole.

In lieu of flowers, donations are requested to Ford and Sons Funeral Home to help the family with funeral expenses.
