Jonathan Andrew Wagner, 40, of Cape Girardeau died Tuesday, June 11, 2013, in Cape Girardeau. He was born Aug. 18, 1972, in Sikeston, Mo., to Orvel and Judy Hornback Wagner. He married Iva Angelisa Stoker Sept. 15, 1990. Jonathan Andrew Wagner, 40, of Cape Girardeau died Tuesday, June 11, 2013, in Cape Girardeau.

He was born Aug. 18, 1972, in Sikeston, Mo., to Orvel and Judy Hornback Wagner. He married Iva Angelisa Stoker Sept. 15, 1990.

Jonathan is survived by his wife; a daughter, Caitlin Paige Wagner; a son, Christian Ash Wagner, all of Cape Girardeau; two sisters, Carol (Tommy) Franklin of Houston, Lisa "Micki" (Charles) Hicks of Sikeston; two nephews, A.J. Wagner of Houston and Andy Vied of Anchorage, Alaska; two nieces, Sarah Zeller (Jason) of Houston Rebekah Schnurbusch (Brian) of Jackson; a great-niece, Claire Schnurbush of Jackson; and other relatives and many friends.

A gathering for friends and family will be from noon until time of service Saturday at Crain Funeral Home.

A celebration of Jonathan's life will be at 1 p.m. at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to American Diabetes Association or Crohn's and Colitis Foundation of America and will be accepted at the funeral home.
