ANNA, Ill. -- Jolene Crawford, 70, of Anna died Friday, March 12, 1999, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Mo.
She was born April 11, 1928, at Tunnel Hill, daughter of Walter and Bessie McCuan Lawrence. She and John C. Crawford were married March 28, 1973, at Anna.
Crawford was a member of First Baptist Church and its Loyalty Sunday School Class.
Survivors include her husband; a son, Mike Martin of Goreville; two stepsons, John Crawford of Park Ridge, Robert Crawford of Morton; two sisters, Clara Simmons of Evansville, Ind., Wilma Conroy of Tunnel Hill; a brother, William "Jim" Lawrence of Needham, Ind.; and eight stepgrandchildren.
She was preceded in death by an infant son and two brothers.
Friends may call at Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home in Anna from 4-7 p.m. Sunday, and Monday at First Baptist Church in Anna from 9:30 a.m. until service time.
Funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the church, with the Rev. Larry Shacklee officiating. Burial will be in Cana Cemetery at Goreville.
