SCOTT CITY -- Johnny Woodrow Henson, 50, died Friday, Dec. 6, 1991, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
He was born Nov. 22, 1941 in Patton, son of the late Jefferson "Jack" Henson and Minnie Brotherton Henson, who survives of Flat River.
He first married Ollie Wilkerson in December 1959. She preceded him in death May 25, 1978.
He then married Sharon Pinkley Jan. 6, 1979. She survives.
He was owner and operator of Henson's Cafe of Scott City for 5 years. Prior to owning the restaurant, he was a route salesman for RC Cola, Pepsi-Cola and Coca-Cola for over 23 years.
He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Scott and Clearview Baptist Church of Scott City, the Kiwanis Club of Scott City and the Scott City Chamber of Commerce.
In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by three sons, Rocky Henson, Scott Henson and Shannon Henson, all of Scott City; two daughters, Monica Conway, Elvins, Jo Cummins, Scott City; one sister JoAnn McWilliams, Desloge and one grandchild.
One sister preceded him in death.
Funeral service will be held Monday at 1 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Scott City with the Rev. Terry Eases. Burial will follow at Patton Cemetery.
