Johnny Steven Joyce Sr., 65, of Advance died Tuesday, June 25, 2024, at Saint Francis Medical Center.
He was born Nov. 20, 1958, in Chaffee, to Gerald and Margie Crater Joyce. He and Robin Dunn were married Oct. 12, 2001 in Illinois.
He loved to fish and enjoyed spending time with his family and dog, MyMy. He was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan and loved working on his trucks.
Survivors include his wife, Robin Joyce of Advance; three daughters, Shontell (Michael) Boyer of Advance, Nicole (Michael) Stearns of Haines City, Florida, and Heather Muse of Desloge; two sons, Johnny (Monica) Joyce Jr. of Advance and Joshua Proffer; a brother, Roy Lee Joyce of Cape Girardeau; one sister; 13 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and a son.
Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 3, at Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau.
Funeral will follow at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 3, at the funeral home with the Rev. Donny Ford officiating.
Burial will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday, July 3, at Poplar Bluff City Cemetery in Poplar Bluff.
