JOHN ZOOK

EAST PRAIRIE -- Funeral service for John Zook of Cuba Route 2, formerly of East Prairie, will be held at 11 a.m. today at Shelby Funeral Chapel here. Burial will be in Dogwood Cemetery.

Zook, 79 years old, died Sunday, April 7, 1991, at Missouri Baptist Hospital in Sullivan.

He was born Nov. 10, 1911, son of Harry and Effie Roach Zook. He and the former Bertha Hopper were married in 1933. She died May 14, 1974.

Zook retired from Mississippi Glass in St. Louis.

Survivors include three sons, Jerry Zook of Arnold, Larry Zook of Cuba, Bobby Zook of Florissant; a daughter, Carmen McMullan of New Melle; a brother, Oliver Zook of Sikeston; a sister, Birdie Williams of Sikeston; 10 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a son, brother and sister.
