John T. "Bingo" Morris Sr., 74, 915 S. Kingshighway, died Monday, April 29, 1991, at Cape Girardeau Nursing Center.
He was born Aug. 27, 1916, at Trimble, Ill., son of Clarence and Ethel Cameron Morris.
Morris worked at Blue Hole Garden Restaurant a number of years, and then owned and operated Bingo Bar B-Q from 1959-67.
Survivors include two sons, John T. Morris Jr. of Cape Girardeau, Ronald Morris of Mobile, Ala.; two daughters, Judy Sinn of Burford, Ga., Rosanna Rose of St. Charles; a brother, Clarence "Cotton" Morris of Cape Girardeau; two sisters, Vicky McIntosh of Cape Girardeau, Aileen Usrey of St. Charles; eight grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a sister.
Funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Lorberg Memorial Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Joe D. McCullough will officiate, with burial in Lorimier Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. today.
