JOHN SCHUCHART

SIKESTON -- John Henry Schuchart, 86, Sikeston Route 4, died Thursday, Jan. 30, 1997, at the home of a daughter in Festus.

He was born July 28, 1910, in Franklin County, son of Rudolph Peter and Wilhelmina Catherine Hanneken Schuchart. He and Mary E. Rennier were married July 28, 1956, at Sikeston.

Schuchart was a self-employed dairy farmer. He was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church and Knights of Columbus.

Survivors include his wife; three daughters, Linda Brown of East Prairie, Brenda Schuchart of Potosi, Donna Meier of Festus; three brothers, Wes, Doc and Bob Schuchart, all of Sikeston; four sisters, Martha Sacs, Ada Johnson and Stella Foster, all of Arlington, Va., Alice Howard of Sun Valley, Calif.; three grandchildren; and a great-grandson.

He was preceded in death by a brother.

Friends may call at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel from 5-8 p.m. today. Parish prayers will be at 7:30, followed by Knights of Columbus rosary.

Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Francis Church, with Msgr. William Stanton and the Rev. Robert Schumacher officiating. Burial will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
