John William Peetz, a native of Jackson, died Friday, Aug. 14, 1998, at Mountain Home, Ark. He was 75.
He was born Sept. 24, 1922, in Jackson, son of John K. and Bertha Bingenheimer Peetz. He married Dorothy Statler Oct. 26, 1946, in Cape Girardeau. She survives.
He was employed for 19 years by Twin Disc Inc. in Racine, Wis. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Mountain Home. He served in the U.S. Army.
Also surviving are a son, Terry W. Peetz of South Milwaukee, Wis.; a daughter, Carolyn K. Madsen, of Duluth, Ga.; a sister, Fern Shultz of Jackson; and four grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Chapel. Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the chapel, with the Revs. Carroll P. Jackson and Cathy Estes officiating.
Burial will be at Memorial Park.
