John David Osborn, 60, of Cape Girardeau died Monday, Dec. 14, 2020, at his residence. He was born June 12, 1960, in Cape Girardeau to Frank and Bernice Treloggen Osborn. John David Osborn, 60, of Cape Girardeau died Monday, Dec. 14, 2020, at his residence.

He was born June 12, 1960, in Cape Girardeau to Frank and Bernice Treloggen Osborn.

He graduated from Cape Girardeau Central High School.

He was a salesman for Overhead Door of Southeast Missouri for 34 years. He was an official timekeeper at Central and Southeast Missouri State University football games for 25 years.

John never met a stranger, and you never walked away from a conversation with him without a smile on your face.

He loved his family.

Survivors include a brother, Jim (Diana) Osborn of Poplar Bluff, Missouri; sister, Julie Osborn of Cape Girardeau; three nephews, Dan (Angie) Barylski, Mark (Tisha) Barylski and Matthew (Katie) Osborn; two nieces, Andrea (Korey) Holland and Lynette Osborn; 12 great-nieces and -nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Joyce Barylski.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau.

Funeral service will follow at noon at the funeral home with Steve Proctor officiating. Burial will be at Cape County Memorial Park Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.

Memorial contributions may be given to the Diabetes and Heart Association.
