CHAFFEE, Mo. -- John Nocera, 66, of Chaffee died Thursday, Nov. 22, 2001, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girar-deau.
He was born April 3, 1935, in Buffalo, N.Y., son of Charles John and Florence Nocera.
Nocera retired as plant manager at American Can Co. in St. Louis. He was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Chaffee.
He served in the U.S. Army and in the U.S. Marine Corps.
Survivors include a son, Charles Nocera of Cape Gir-ardeau; two daughters, Flo Maglothin of Sherman, Texas, Kathleen Fowler of Chaffee; three sisters, Rosie LaVerde of Denver, Colo., Antoinette Mecca and Jenny Renaldo of Buffalo; and six grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
There is no visitation.
Funeral will be held at 4 p.m. Friday at St. Paul Lutheran Church. The Rev. Wayne Schwiesow will officiate.
Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee is in charge of arrangements.
