OAK RIDGE, Mo. -- John T. Morrison, 79, of Oak Ridge died Thursday, May 2, 2002, at his home.
He was born Sept. 8, 1922, at Uniontown, Mo., son of Chalmer Vest and Hedwig Bock Morrison. He and Helen Dost were married Aug. 8, 1951.
Morrison was a dairy farmer. He was a member of Grace Lutheran Church at Uniontown, Mo.
He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, John and David Morrison of Oak Ridge; two daughters, Dianne Bolen of Oak Ridge, Betty Kissane of Columbia, Mo.; two sisters, Leona Hoehn and Neola Prevallet of Perryville, Mo.; 12 grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two sons, a daughter, two brothers, and a sister.
Friends may call at Young and Sons Funeral Home in Perryville from 4 to 9 p.m. today, and Saturday from 6:30 to 9 a.m.
Funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Grace Lutheran Church in Uniontown, with the Rev. Paul Winningham officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
