DALLAS — John Edward Leming, 80, of Dallas died Friday, April 25, 2008, in Farmers Branch, Texas.
He was born Sept. 24, 1927, in Cape Girardeau, son of Wallace and Frances Leming.
Leming was a longtime employee of the Dallas Morning News, an avid model railroader and a member of Episcopal Chapter of The Good Shepherd and the National Model Railroad Association.
Survivors include a son, Tom Leming of Dallas; a brother, Bob Leming and wife Merilee of Overland Park, Kan.; numerous brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. today at Restland Funeral Home in Dallas.
The service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Episcopal Church of The Good Shepherd, 11122 Midway Road in Dallas, with the Rev. Herbert R. DeWees as celebrant.
Memorials may be made to the Episcopal Church of The Good Shepherd.
