CATRON -- John Kinsey, 63, of Catron died Tuesday, July 20, 1999, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau. He was born Feb. 9, 1936, at Lilbourn, son of Tom and Fern Vails Kinsey. He and Thelma Edwards were married Nov. 27, 1959, at Catron. Kinsey had lived at Catron 32 years. He was a retired farm laborer, and member of Lilbourn General Baptist Church...

CATRON -- John Kinsey, 63, of Catron died Tuesday, July 20, 1999, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

He was born Feb. 9, 1936, at Lilbourn, son of Tom and Fern Vails Kinsey. He and Thelma Edwards were married Nov. 27, 1959, at Catron.

Kinsey had lived at Catron 32 years. He was a retired farm laborer, and member of Lilbourn General Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Renna Simmons of New Madrid, Mona Lewis of Malden; a son, Jerome Kinsey of Virginia Beach, Va.; three sisters, Neoma Farris of Bloomfield, Francis Matlock of Cahokia, Ill., Dorothy Turman of Houston, Miss.; and four grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Parma. Burial will be in Parma Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home Friday from 10 a.m. until service time.
