ADVANCE -- Funeral service for John Julius Robins of Advance will be held at 1 p.m. today at Morgan Funeral Chapel, with the Rev. Arvil Huffman officiating. Burial will be in Morgan Memorial Park.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 11 a.m. to service time.
Robins, 80, died Thursday, Sept. 15, 1994, at John J. Pershing VA Medical Center in Poplar Bluff.
He was born April 2, 1934, in Bessville, son of Luther and Louise Hensley Robins. He married Cindy Dye, who died Aug. 21, 1983.
Robins was a disabled veteran, and served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. He was a member of First General Baptist Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Cindy and Tammy Robins of Marble Hill; three brothers, Tom Robins of Piedmont, Carl Robins of Zalma, and Joe Robins of Collinsville, Ill.
