JACKSON -- John W. Shrum Hinton, 35, of Jackson died Monday, April 10, 2000, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
He was born Aug. 3, 1964, in Fort Worth, Texas, son of Waymond Buddy and Sandra Henry Shrum.
He was employed as a concrete finisher at Cement Masonry Union Local 908 in Cape Girardeau.
He is survived by a stepson, Shannon Maddox of Jackson; a stepdaughter, Jennifer Harris of Jackson; two sisters, Terry J. Miller of Dexter and Kristen D. Green of Wichita Falls, Texas; and a grandmother, Neva Shrum of Arlington, Texas.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a grandmother and a grandfather.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson.
The funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the funeral chapel, with the Rev. Eddie Dodson officiating. Burial will be in McLain's Chapel Cemetery near Oriole.
