John W. Henry, 81, of Cape Girardeau died Friday, Jan. 2, 2004, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.
He was born on March 28, 1922, at McLeansboro, Ill., son of Cornelius and Grace McClimans Henry.
He married Guadalupe Vera Ibarro on May 11, 1964, in Mexico City, Mexico.
He served in the Army in World War II. He was trained as a dental technician at William Beaumont Hospital in Fort Bliss, Texas. He worked as a dental hygienist for several area dentists in Cape Girardeau and Chaffee, Mo.
Survivors include his wife of the home; two sons, Larry Henry of Ortonville, Mich., and Ronald Henry of Puxico, Mo.; and a daughter, Fenena Seyer of Cape Girardeau.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Chapel.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the funeral chapel.
The Rev. Zachary Strong will officiate. Burial will be in Berrong Cemetery in Gypsy, Mo., with full military honors provided by the Missouri Honor Guard.
