PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- John J. Glaub, 64, of Bloomington, Ill., formerly of Perryville, died Friday, Feb. 1, 2008, at his home.
He was born Jan. 4, 1944, in Perryville, son of John Glen and Esther Ruch Glaub.
Glaub worked at Union Camp Paper Mill.
Survivors include three sons, Lenny Glaub of LeRoy, Ill., Ed and Johnny Glaub of Bloomington; three brothers, Bob Glaub of Malden, Mo., Ralph Glaub of New Orleans, Lawrence Melfelt of Apache Junction, Ariz.; four sisters, Ruby Brown, Mary Lou Favier and Mildred Kiefer of Perryville, Deloris Smith of Wynn, Ark.; a friend, Bonnie Welty of Perryville; and five grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, a stepbrother and four stepsisters.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today and 6:30 a.m. to service time Wednesday at Young and Sons Funeral Home.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with Don Cox officiating. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.
