CYPRESS, Ill. -- Graveside service for John E. Francis of Cypress will be held at 1 p.m. today at Masonic Cemetery. The Rev. Joey Dunning will officiate.
Friends may call at Wilson Funeral Home in Karnak from 10 a.m. to noon.
Francis, 87, died Wednesday, March 15, 2000, at his farm.
He was born Jan. 25, 1913, in St. Louis, son of Walter and Izora Beggs Francis.
Francis was a livestock farmer and attended Karnak United Methodist Church. He was a member of Union County Farm Bureau, Vienna Eastern Star Egyptian Chapter 30, Cypress Stone Arch Lodge 953, and Metropolis White Shrine Lodge 89. He had served on the Masonic Cemetery Board of Trustees.
He is survived by a sister, Maurine Aldrich of Cypress.
