SIKESTON -- John F. "Frank" Crain, 73, of Eldorado, Kan., died Saturday, July 25, 1992, at his home.
He was born Dec. 20, 1918, at Sikeston, son of John and Flora Kappler Crain.
Survivors include seven sons, Timothy, Andrew, Geoffrey and John Crain III of Eldorado, Frank Crain of Bunker Hill, Ill., Bobby Crain of St. Louis, John Crain Jr. of St. Peters; two daughters, Carol Burkemter of Troy, Patsy Merz of O'Fallon; his mother of Sikeston; five brothers, Dan Crain of Carbondale, Ill., Arnold Crain of Danville, Ill., Jack Crain of Ft. Pierce, Fla., Ronald Crain of Merritt Island, Fla., Richard Crain of Melbourne, Fla.; four sisters, Margaret Ray of Clarksville, Tenn., Hazel Dalton of Ellisville, Dorothy Cardinale of St. Charles, Edith Sparks of Sikeston, and several grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son.
Friends may call at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel after 5 p.m. today.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Bishop George Ray will officiate, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
