JOHN DEREK MOCK

CHARLESTON -- John Derek Mock, 24, of Route 1, Bertrand, died Saturday, Jan. 10, 1998, at his residence.

He was born Nov. 17, 1973, in Sikeston, son of Thomas Mock and Patricia Duckett Jones.

He was a welder.

He married Sherry Western on Dec. 18, 1997. She survives.

Survivors include his father and stepmother, Thomas and Sandra Smith Mock of Bertrand; his mother and stepfather, Patricia and Dan Jones of Sikeston; his grandparents, W.C. and Lear Parrish Mock of Bertrand and John and Katie Gregory Duckett of Jefferson City; and a brother, Dale Mock of Sikeston.

Service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery in Sikeston.

Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
