MARBLE HILL, Mo. -- John Dale Chandler Jr., 58, of Marble Hill died Monday, April 2, 2001, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
He was born March 20, 1943, in Norfolk, Va., son of John Dale and Mildred L. Huser Chandler. He and Patsy Schreckenberg were married May 24, 1969.
Chandler was co-owner of Chandler Drug Store. He was a member of Lutesville Presbyterian Church and Bollinger County Chamber of Commerce.
He served in the U.S. Air Force.
Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Donna Chandler-Pry and Amy Chandler of St. Louis; his mother of Marble Hill; and a brother, Charles "Buddy" Chandler of Marble Hill.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Friends may call at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill from 4-8 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with Dr. John Englehart and the Rev. Nancy Gillard officiating. Private burial will be in Bollinger County Memorial Park Cemetery.
