MALDEN -- Graveside service for John C. Blaylock of Malden will be held at 2:30 p.m. today at Rosewood Cemetery in Malden. The Rev. Charlie Shrum will officiate.
Friends may call after 1 p.m. today at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter.
Blaylock, 90, died Saturday, April 22, 2000, at Ridgeview Nursing Center.
He was born April 10, 1910, in Clay County, Ark., son of Reul B. and Ida Mae Lane Blaylock. He and Marie Burcks were married Jan. 21, 1964, in Parma.
Blaylock lived at Parma 45 years, moving to Malden in 1991. He was a retired carpenter and farmer.
Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Brenda McDonald of Williamsburg, Va., Joan Dodson of Boerne, Texas; a brother, Harry Blaylock of Doniphan; two sisters, Marie Mabry of Naylor, Marteen Weaver of Madison Heights, Mich.; five grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
