OLIVE BRANCH, Ill. -- John Blakemore, 84, of Oak Park, died there Sunday, June 20, 1993. He was formerly of Olive Branch.

He was born Sept. 29, 1908, at Lakewood, son of James F. and Amy Roberts Blakemore. He married the former Louise F. Hoppe.

Blakemore was retired as pastor of Harrison Street Bible Church in Oak Park.

Survivors include two sons, Paul Blakemore of Geneva, Peter Blakemore of River Forest; a daughter, Elizabeth Blakemore of Lorton, Va.; a brother, Joe Blakemore of Olive Branch; a sister, Ruth Worthington of Olive Branch; 10 grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.

Graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Green Lawn Memorial Gardens in Villa Ridge, with the Rev. Peter Blakemore officiating.

Crain Funeral Home at Tamms is in charge of arrangements.
