John Bennett

BROWNWOOD, Mo. -- John David Bennett, 47, of Brownwood passed away Tuesday, Oct. 9, 2018, at Essex, Missouri.

He was born Oct. 8, 1971, at Dexter, Missouri, the son of Chuck and Shirley Richard Bennett.

John worked for D & D Trucking in Essex. He was known for his great sense of humor.

Survivors include a son, John Nanney of Arab, Missouri; his girlfriend, Tammy Wright of the home; his dog, Yoyo; his father, Chuck Bennett of Michigan; four brothers, Victor, Chris and Mark Morris, all of Brownwood, and Mac Richard of Bell City, Missouri; and a sister, Dana Bennett of Brownwood.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Shirley Richard.

Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at Morgan Funeral Chapel in Advance, Missouri.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to help with funeral expenses.
