CAIRO, Ill. -- John A. "Boo" Fischer III, 29, of Cairo, Ill., died Thursday, Sept. 23, 1993, at Community Health Services in Cairo, Ill.
He was born Jan. 28, 1964, at Cairo, Ill., son of John A. and Mary Emma Kaha Fischer, Jr.
He was the owner of Jafco Heating and Refrigeration Company in Cairo, Ill.
Fischer was a member of the St. Patricks Catholic Church in Cairo, Ill., a past president and chairman of the board of the Cairo Jaycees, a member of the Cairo Knights of Columbus, the Cairo Elks Lodge, the Alexander-Pulaski Sportsmen Club, the National Refrigeration and Engineering Society and a charter member of the Propeller Club of Port of Cairo.
Survivors include his parents; his maternal grandmother, Josephine Kaha of Cairo, Ill.; and two sisters, Julie Stone and Jane Fischer, both of Cairo, Ill.
Friends may call after 4 p.m. today at the Barkett Funeral Home in Cairo, Ill. Rosary services will be at 7 p.m. today.
Funeral mass will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at the St. Patricks Catholic Church in Cairo, Ill., with the Rev. Fr. Jerome Fortenberry officiating.
Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery in Villa Ridge, Ill.
