WHITEWATER -- Joel Aaron Raines, the infant son of Kevin Charles and Sharon Kathleen Houar Raines of Whitewater, died Saturday, Oct. 12, 1996, at St. Louis Children's Hospital.

He was born Sept. 2, 1996, in St. Louis. He was a member of the Immaculate Conception Church in Jackson.

Survivors include his parents; his twin brother, Jesse Raines; his maternal grandparents, John and Pat Houar of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and Barbara and Don Ahlrichs of Monticello, Iowa; his paternal grandparents, Norman and Betty Raines of Scott City; and his maternal great-grandparents, Russ and Shirley Pepper of Las Vegas.

Friends may call from 9-10 a.m. today at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Jackson.

The funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. today at the church, with Msgr. Edward Eftink officiating. Burial will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery in Scott City.
