SIKESTON -- Junior Isaac "Joe" Wilder, 70, of Sikeston died Friday, April 28, 2000, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.
He was born Sept. 8, 1929, in Ellsinore, son of Isaac and Mable Francis Wilder. He married Imogene Massey, who died March 24, 1995.
Wilder was a retired farm laborer.
Survivors include five sons, Ray Wilder of Kennett, Danny and Dale Wilder of Sikeston, Frankie Wilder of Crosby, Texas, Johnny Wilder of Dexter; five daughters, Mary Cooper of Grover Hill, Ohio, Joyce Pierce of Corning, Ark., Betty Price of Arlington, Texas, Birdie Smith of Branson and Donna Cureton of Dexter.
Also surviving are five brothers, Steve Wilder of Success, Ark., Bill Wilder of Kennett, Odale Wilder of Holcomb, Jerry Wilder of Corning, Ark., Jim Morley of Minnesota; two sisters, Peggy Atterberry of Neelyville, Betty Masana of St. Louis; 17 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a grandson.
Friends may call at Ponder Funeral Home from 5-8 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. The Revs. Bill Martin and Dolan Rogers will officiate.
