BLOOMFIELD -- Joseph J. Watts, 84, died Sunday, Sept. 21, 1997, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.

He was born March 3, 1913, near Oran, son of Obe and Addie Kynion Watts.

Watts was a retired farmer. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.

Survivors include a brother, Otis Watts of Bloomfield; and a sister, Inez Abner of Bell City.

He was preceded in death by a brother and sister.

Friends may call at Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home from 6-8 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Gene Holland officiating. Burial will be in Gravel Hill Cemetery near Bell City.
