FARMINGTON -- Joe W. Golliher, 65, of Farmington, died Tuesday, Sept. 24, 1991, at Methodist Medical Center in Peoria, Ill.
He was born Feb. 19, 1926, in Cape Girardeau, son of Linus and Martha J. Bryant Golliher. He married Doretta Howard in 1946. He and Deloris Wolstenholme were married in 1958 in Peoria.
Golliher was a truck driver with Peoria Blacktop more than 10 years, and then was a truck driver in the Peoria area, retiring in 1986.
He was a member of American Legion Post and Moose Lodge at Farmington. He was an Army veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Wayne Golliher of Albuquerque, N.M., David Golliher of Roswell, Ga.; two daughters, Mary Power of Los Angeles, Martha Golliher of Detroit, Mich.; a sister, Sybil Depro of Cape Girardeau, and three grandchildren.
Interment of ashes will be later at Hobbs Chapel Cemetery here. Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel in Peoria is in charge of arrangements.
