He was born Nov. 23, 1938, in Fornfelt (Scott City), to the late Morgan M. and Lillian R. McAtee English.
Survivors include a brother-in-law, Bill Stanfield; nephews Kevin (Susan) Stanfield and Scott Stanfield; three great-nieces; and a great-nephew.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Peggy Stanfield.
A private graveside service will be held at Stroderville Cemetery in Whitewater.
