DONGOLA, Ill. -- Jodean Powles Johns, 59, of Dongola died Saturday, July 15, 1995, at her home.
She was born Oct. 31, 1935, at Mill Creek, daughter of Joseph and Reba Jordan Powles. She and Dwain Johns were married Dec. 8, 1956.
Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Debra Pfaff, of Villa Ridge; a son, Joseph Johns, of Mill Creek; two brothers, Marvin L. Powles Sr. of Mill Creek and Jerry D. Powles Sr. of Waukegan; a sister, Nadine Lynch, of Gurnee; and seven grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a son.
Friends may call from 5-9 p.m. today and until the time of service on Tuesday at the Crain Funeral Home in Dongola, where funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday. The Rev. Jimmy Wilson will officiate, and burial will be at St. John's Cemetery.
