Joanne Marie Parker, 79, of Jackson passed away Sunday, March 25, 2012, at Monticello House.
She was born May 1, 1932, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of Benjamin Henry and Sybil Marie Carmack Kimbel. She and Delbert Parker were married June 23, 1950, in Piggott, Ark. He preceded her in death.
Joanne was of the Jehovah's Witnesses belief.
Survivors include a son, Steve Parker of Jackson; a daughter, Rebecca Brown of Oak Ridge; five brothers, Ray, Bobby and Gene Kimbel of Jackson, Ben Kimbel of Oak Ridge, Jimmy Kimbel of Cape Girardeau; four sisters, Betty Wilkins, Hulda Flanagan, Jeannett Farrow and Billy Farrow, all of Jackson; 10 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by children, Debra Eifert, David, Bradley, Beverly and Kenny Parker; and a sister, Brenda Wilkins.
A graveside service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday at McClain Chapel Cemetery at Oriole.
