PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Joan C. Brown, 67, of Perryville died Thursday, July 3, 2003, at her home.
She was born March 13, 1936, at St. Louis, daughter of Salvatore Pona and Rosa Fantauzzo Pona. She and Charles M. Brown were married Nov. 28, 1964, at St. Louis. He survives.
She had been vice president of Brown Ventures, Inc. and was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church.
Other survivors include her mother of St. Louis; a daughter, Nancy M. Emmendorfer of Perryville; a son, Mark C. Brown of Perryville; a sister, Marie Driver of St. Louis; a brother, Jim Pona of St. Louis; and two grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father.
Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. Sunday and again from 6:30 to 11:20 a.m. Monday at Miller Family Funeral Home in Perryville. Parish wake will be at 7 p.m. Sunday.
Funeral Mass will be said at 11:30 a.m. Monday at St. Vincent de Paul Church, with the Rev. Kevin P. Fausz officiating. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.
