Jo Shackleford, 68, 1812 Bel Air, died Friday, May 15, 1992, at her home. She had been ill six years.

She was born Dec. 13, 1923, at Qulin, daughter of Harry and Bertha Snider Brockman. She married Louis Shackleford Jan. 30, 1943, in Houston, Texas.

The couple moved to Cape Girardeau in 1977 from St. Louis. She worked a year at Weller Realty Co., and was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Chapel.

Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Linda Grega of St. Louis; two brothers, Harry Shackleford of Los Angeles, Calif., Donald Shackleford of Beloit, Wis.; two sisters, Barbara Davis of Poplar Bluff, Gracie McFall of Peoria, Ill., and two grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son.

Graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Memorial Park Cemetery in St. Louis County, with the Rev. William Matzat officiating.

There is no visitation or service here.

Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
