Jo Riddick

Jo A. Riddick, 67, of Cape Girardeau died Sunday, April 15, 2012, at the Lutheran Home.

She was born Aug. 9, 1944, in Steele, Mo., to Charley A. and Mary G. Severn Smith.

Jo was a graduate of Steele High School. She was a nurse's assistant and had worked at Southeast Hospital many years. She was a member of Eagles Aerie 3775.

Survivors include a son, Lewis Riddick of Perryville, Mo.; a sister, Mary Whistle of Caruthersville, Mo.; a grandchild, Morgan Riddick of Perryville; special friend and companion, Stephen Talley of Cape Girardeau; a cousin, Janie Davis of Caruthersville; friend, Shirley Beggs of Cape Girardeau.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers.

There is no visitation.

Graveside service will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Cape County Memorial Park Mausoleum, with the Rev. Donny Ford officiating. Memorial contributions may be given to the American Cancer Society, 106 Farrar Drive, Cape Girardeau, MO 63701.

Ford and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
