Jo Ann Sadler, 72, of Cape Girardeau died Tuesday, April 27, 2004, at Life Care Center.

She was born July 12, 1931, in Advance, Mo., daughter of Clarence and Sadie Gibbs May. She and James Sadler were married Feb. 23, 1952, in Piggott, Ark.

Sadler was a 1950 graduate of Advance High School.

Survivors include her husband; a son, Dr. Kent Sadler of San Antonio, Texas; a brother, Charles "Stubby" May of Advance; two sisters, Blondel Bowers of Mexia, Texas, Charlotte Lanpher of Advance; and three grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by three sisters.

Friends may call at Morgan Funeral Home in Advance from 10 a.m. to service time Thursday.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with Sam Ramdial officiating. Burial will be in Morgan Memorial Park in Advance.
