Jimmy "Cotton" Revelle, 78, of Advance, Mo., passed away Nov. 25, 2012, at Landmark Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
He was born Dec. 26, 1933, in Bollinger County, the son of George and Zula Markum Revelle.
Cotton had been a pipefitter and inspector for the Local Pipefitters Union No. 798. He had been a 32nd degree Mason and Past Master. He enjoyed karaoke and had owned and operated a karaoke company and did shows.
Survivors include a special sweetheart, Deloris Walker of the home; a daughter, Judith Lynn Shumway of Fairborn, Ohio; a sister, Jean Landrum of Sarasota, Fla.; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Ilah Revelle; a son, Jim Revelle; two daughters, Melinda Baker and Barbara Sue Kiser; six brothers; and five sisters.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Morgan Funeral Chapel in Advance.
The funeral will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at the chapel. Burial will follow at Morgan Memorial Park in Advance.
