PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Jimmy R. Jennings, 63, of Perryville died Saturday, May 27, 2006, at his home.
He was born Sept. 9, 1942, in Savannah, Tenn., son of Otis and Blanche Hulin Jennings.
Jennings earned a master's degree in history. He had taught at Ste. Genevieve, Mo., and Perryville schools, Perryville Higher Education Center, and also tutored many students. He was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church.
Survivors include a brother, Norman Jennings of Savannah, and a sister, Martha Beckham of Waynesboro, Tenn.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Friends may call at Miller Family Funeral Home from 5 to 8 p.m. today, and Thursday from 6:30 to 9:50 a.m. The parish wake will be at 7 tonight.
Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Vincent's Church, with the Rev. Kevin Fausz officiating. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.
