POCAHONTAS, Ark. -- Jimmy Roy Foster, 65, of Pocahontas passed away Friday, July 25, 2014.
He was born Dec. 20, 1948, in Jonesboro, Arkansas, to R.H. and Ical Foster.
He is survived by his wife, Joyce Massey-Foster; father, R.H. Foster; children, Suzanne Carol Peebles of Batesville, Arkansas, Roy William Foster of Scott City and Joseph Loyd-Allen Foster of Scott City; brothers, Steve Foster, Terry Foster, Larry Joe Foster and Keith Sutton; and grandchildren, Alyssa Bates, Sydney Bates, Suzanna Bates, Clayton Herndon, Cory Herndon, Caleb Herndon, Joseph Alexander Foster and Catherine Foster.
Jimmy was preceded in death by his mother, Ical Sutton; children, Annjella Catherine Foster, Serena Foster and Janet Foster; and brother, Keith Ray Foster.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Taylor-Cox Funeral Home in Pocahontas.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Foster Cemetery.
Honored to serve as pallbearers are Clayton Herndon, Cory Herndon, Caleb Herndon, Joseph Alexander Foster, Michael Peebles and Briar Foster.
