Jimmy Crader
MARBLE HILL, Mo. -- Jimmy Clark Crader, 69, of Marble Hill died Friday, Jan. 30, 2009, in Marble Hill.
He was born Sept. 29, 1939, at Burfordville, son of Milton E. and Clarine West Crader. He and Alice Marie Keaveny were married Sept. 29, 2008, at their home in Marble Hill.
Crader retired as a machinist and welder for Nash Engineering in St. Peters, Mo.
He was a 13-year veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving during the Vietnam era.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Rusty Crader of Tennessee; three daughters, Kathy Harris of Tennessee, Judy Skaggs of Chaffee, Mo., Tonya Crockett of Warrenton, Mo.; two stepsons, Ronnie Mergenthal of Warrenton, Randy Mergenthal of Troy, Mo.; two stepdaughters, Stacy Jarvis, Shannon Rhodes of Troy; five brothers, William Crader of Jackson, Donald Crader of Marble Hill, Jeff Crader of Virginia, Roy Crader of Marble Hill, John Crader of Marthasville; three sisters, Pam Crader of Marthasville, Mo., Dorothy Eldracher of Marble Hill, Doris Crader of Florida; and nine grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery at Bloomfield, Mo., with the Rev. Jim Matthews officiating. Miliary honors will be by the U.S. Navy and American Post 5900 of Dexter, Mo.
Arrangements are being handled by Hutchings Funeral Chapel in Marble Hill.
