SIKESTON -- Jimmie Lee Sartin, 61, of Sikeston died Nov. 6, 1993, at his residence.
He formerly had worked as a truckdriver for the Florsheim Shoe Co. in Cape Girardeau, and also had worked at the 76 Truck Stop on I-55 near Matthews.
He was born April 2, 1932, in Marion Ky., to the late James and Lula Brewer Sartin. He married Gacie P. Cooper Davidson on Nov. 19, 1965. She survives.
Also surviving are three sons, Dewey Davidson and John Davidson, both and Sikeston, and David Davidson of Dexter; five daughters, Candy Bohnert, Jo Ann Rodgers, Gracie Dovers and MarJane Groves, all of Sikeston, and Lela Paxton of Morley; one brother, Otis Sartin of Oregon; two sisters, Bonnie Armstrong and Georgia Marcy, both of Portland, Ore.; 16 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one brother and one great-grandson.
Friend may call after 4 p.m. at the Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the chapel with the Rev. Lee Fansler, pastor the First Baptist Church in Blodgett, officiating.
Burial will be in the Garden of Memories Cemetery in Sikeston.
