ESSEX -- Jimmie G. Parker, 54, of Sullivan died Monday, March 2, 1998, at his home.
He was born Oct. 27, 1943, in Essex, son of Paul and Naomi Eaton Parker.
Parker lived in the Essex and Dexter areas until moving to Sullivan seven years ago. He owned and operated a metal building construction company. He was a member of an Eagles Club. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
Survivors include a daughter, Jamie Parker of Sullivan; his mother of Sullivan; a sister, Paulette Moss of Cape Girardeau; two brothers, Larry Parker of Sullivan, Jerry Parker of Cameron; and two grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son and a brother.
Friends may call at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. George Hill officiating. Burial will be in Dexter Cemetery.
