Jimmie L. Pittman, 52, 2949 S. Sprigg, died in an automobile accident Thursday, March 2, 1995, at South Kingshighway and Interstate 55. He was born May 3, 1942, in Cape Girardeau, son of Roy John and Katie Marie Boone Pittman. Jimmie L. Pittman, 52, 2949 S. Sprigg, died in an automobile accident Thursday, March 2, 1995, at South Kingshighway and Interstate 55.

He was born May 3, 1942, in Cape Girardeau, son of Roy John and Katie Marie Boone Pittman. His mother died when he was young and he was reared by his father and stepmother, Marguerite Fields Pittman.

Pittman was a parts salesman with Charlie's NAPA Auto Parts. He was a former member of Capaha Trail Motorcycle Club.

Survivors include a sister, Mary Groseclose of Cape Girardeau.

Friends may call at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel from 4-8 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at the chapel, with the Rev. David Griesemer officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park.
