JONESBORO, Ill. -- Jim Johnson, 66, of Jonesboro died Monday, Sept. 16, 2002, at his home.
He was born Oct. 5, 1935, in Reynoldsville, Ill., son of Carl and Ethyle Tucker Johnson.
Johnson was employed by city of Jonesboro. He was a veteran of the Korean War.
Survivors include his mother, Ethyle Hall of Anna, Ill.; a daughter, Lynn Carole of Buffalo, N.Y.; a son, Billy Johnson of Buffalo; a sister, Margaret Ryan of Grand Chain, Ill.; and several grandchildren.
Friends may call at Hileman and Parr Funeral Home from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Mike Able officiating. Burial will be in Jonesboro Cemetery, with military rites conducted by Carroll P. Foster VFW Post 3455 of Anna.
