SIKESTON, Mo. -- James Michael "Jim" Bula, 55, of Sikeston died Tuesday, Feb. 13, 2001, at Miner Nursing Center in Miner, Mo.
He was born Aug. 21, 1945, in Antigo, Wis., son of Stanley and Edna Abrams Bula. He and Melinda Evans were married Sept. 22, 2000, at Benton, Mo.
Bula moved to Sikeston 20 years ago from Spring Green, Wis. He was owner of Bula's Heartland Potato Farm at Benton.
He was a member of St. Denis Catholic Church at Benton, and Elks Lodge 2319 at Sikeston.
Survivors include his wife; a stepdaughter, Stacey Evans of the home; his mother of Antigo; three brothers, Victor Bula of Wautoma, Wis., Eugene Bula of Plainfield, Wis., and Mark Bula of Adams, Wis.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Friends may call at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel from 5-8 p.m. today. A prayer service will be held at 7:30.
Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Denis Church with the Rev. Normand Varone officiating. Burial will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
